San Francisco-based startup MeghaSumm announced the close of a $200 million Series B funding round on Wednesday to build what its founders describe as 'a large language model specifically trained to summarise the outputs of other large language models.' The product, called TLDRx, ingests the summaries produced by AI assistants and compresses them further — a process the company calls 'summary distillation' and analysts are calling 'making the internet one sentence long.' Lead investor Magna Venture Partnerss said the addressable market is 'essentially every person alive who has ever opened a newsletter and immediately scrolled to the bullet points.'
