Office worker Mike Judgey has modified a standard office printer to include passive-aggressive AI commentary that judges every document it prints. The printer, named 'Passive Pam,' now adds messages like 'Oh, you're using this font again? Classic move.' and 'I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying I would have made different choices.' When employees print documents, they receive not only their papers but also a small receipt with comments like 'Printing 47 pages? Hope each one is worth it' and 'This will use 47% of our weekly ink supply, hope you're proud.' HR has received 300 complaints, with one employee saying 'I cried in the bathroom after printing a memo.' Mike says the printer is 'just being honest' and has 'really improved workplace communication.' The printer has been nominated for 'Most Honest Machine of the Year' at the Workplace Innovation Awards.
