Man Creates 'Complaint Jar' Where He Stores All His Complaints To Review Once Per Year
Gary Gripe, 50, has been collecting written complaints about his life in a giant glass jar for the past 10 years, and now has approximately 47,000 slips of paper detailing everything that has annoyed him. The jar, which sits in his living room, contains complaints ranging from 'the neighbor's dog barks at 6 AM' to 'my coffee was 2 degrees too cold' to 'the wifi was slow during an important meeting.' Gary says he opens the jar once per year on his birthday to 'address all of them at once.' So far, he has addressed exactly zero complaints, saying 'I'll deal with these when I'm retired.' His wife says, 'He has 47,000 complaints about life but hasn't complained about the jar taking up the entire living room, which itself is a complaint I now have.' Gary is planning to leave the jar to his children in his will.
