Company Introduces 'Monday Motivation' AI That Only Sends Insulting Messages

Corporate wellness startup Motivational Mess has released an AI called 'Tough Love Bot' that sends employees daily motivational messages that are actually just insults. The bot sends messages like 'You survived Monday, but only barely, I saw your face,' and 'This is your Tuesday motivation: you still haven't fixed that problem from last month.' The AI was developed after focus groups showed that standard motivational quotes were 'too nice and therefore ineffective.' One employee said, 'I got a message saying -You think you worked hard yesterday? Statistics show you were in the bottom 30% of your department. Try harder. I've never felt more motivated to quit.' The company says the bot has increased 'toxic productivity' by 47% and decreased 'happiness-based output' by 20%, which they consider a success.
